Ridge House

Perched on a ridgeline overlooking Whitefish Lake, Ridge House reveals itself gradually, creating a memorable arrival as the elevated main living level rises above the surrounding landscape.  This custom home is organized as a long, linear form that follows the contours of the hillside, allowing every primary space to capture expansive views across the lake and the valley beyond.

A defining architectural gesture is the standing seam metal roof, which lifts toward the southern end of the home.  This subtle "flip" welcomes abundant natural light into the great room while maintaining a lower, more intimate scale over the bedroom wing, creating a balance between openness and retreat.

Ridge House celebrates modern mountain living through a restrained architectural language, thoughtful siting, and a seamless relationship between the home and the landscape that surrounds it.
